PASTOR'S WELCOME:

Greetings to each of you as you visit our site.  It's my prayer that you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and you are serving Him with all your heart.  Remember what Jesus said to his disciples applies to us today.  Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

The mission of New Life Baptist Church is to communicate this wonderful news of Jesus Christ. We are a church who believes in the power of God’s Word to change lives. We value the practical application of His Word to make a difference in who we are and what we do.

If you do not have a home church and are looking for a warm and friendly church with a growing passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and compassion for people, we invite you to join us at New Life Baptist Church.

We have a variety of ministries to serve children, youth and adults. I believe you will find our church to be a warm, friendly place where you can grow in your faith and discover more of God’s plan for your life.

As always, the pastor, staff and members are here to help people where they are in life's walk.  You will be welcomed here as a special guest.  We hope you will visit with us soon and look forward to meeting you.

For His Glory,

Dr. Lewis Edward Wilson

WE BELIEVE:

The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.  (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:19-21)

In one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (I John 5:7; II Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:18-19)

That Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is true God and true man. (Matthew 1:18-22; Luke 1:35)

That man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became separated from God, and that man is totally corrupt, and of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:22-23)

That the Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of everyone, according to the scripture, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. (Ephesians 1:7; I Peter 2:24)

In the resurrection of His physical body and His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and "Advocate".  (Romans 8:34; I John 2:1-2)

That the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity Who convicts the world of sin, and regenerates, indwells, enlightens, and guides the believer.  (John 14:16,17; John 3:18)

That all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God.                           (Luke 13:3; John 3:3,18,36)

The imminent return of the Lord, which is the blessed hope of the Church, is to be followed by: the tribulation, second coming of Christ to establish His kingdom for one thousand years, the eternal state of punishment for the unsaved and the eternal state of blessing for the saved. (Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-18; 5:4-10; Revelation 20:1-6, 11-15; Matthew 25:46)

The church is composed of all true believers; is the body of Christ through regeneration and baptism by the Holy Spirit.                    (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:14,25,30; I Corinthians 12:12)
